This amazing outdoor venue offers a huge variety of concerts, both big and small, rock artists to symphonies, and comedy shows and cultural festivals. A great place to take advantage of a cool summer evening. You could head over to the USA Baseball National Training Complex for some good baseball or softball. Hosting national tournaments and tryout selection tests it is a unique and entertaining venue.

Taking it indoors you could visit the renovated 1946 Cary Theater for a foreign film or some live music. The Cary Arts Center features open studios giving you the opportunity to participate in the art making process. Try some painting, throw a vase in ceramics, work in metals or try woodworking.

A slice of history can be seen at the Page-Walker Arts and History Center. Starting as a hotel for the railroad in 1868 this delightful Victorian building now house exhibits and artefacts with history of the area.

You are in the south with terrific weather so you can’t leave without a round of golf. There are five golf courses to choose from in Cary. If the weather isn’t working in your favor visit the Cary Town Center for some relaxing shopping. There is a play area for the kids and also an aquatic center for a swim. You can try a craft beer at the Bonds Brothers Beer Company. They have a running club on Tuesday nights. Run and enjoy a craft beer afterwards. You could switch it up and have a wine night at the Chatham Hill Winery. They have a sophisticated, minimalist approach to crafting traditional wines with grapes from the area.
