Meet the Team

Crystal - Registered Dental Hygienist

Crystal began her dental career as a dental assistant while still in high school.  She graduated in 2001 from Harrisburg Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene.  Crystal and her family moved to North Carolina in 2004.  An avid reader, Crystal also enjoys being a mother to her 2 children, Alex & Bella, as well as volunteering as a Girl Scout leader.  As a hygienist, Crystal strives to understand how to make each patient as comfortable as possible during their appointment.  Her goal is to provide individualized oral hygiene education to assist each patient to attain the best oral health possible.  

Gabby - Registered Dental Hygienist

Gabby is a native of this area and attended Central Carolina Community College to earn an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene.  She enjoys providing extremely thorough care and customized oral hygiene instructions to help her patients obtain their optimum oral health. She currently resides in Holly Springs with her husband, Rich. They are members of Hope Community Church.  In her free time, Gabby enjoys cooking, traveling and crossfit.

Gina - Clinical Assistant

Gina has been a dental assistant since 1996. She received her certification through the Dental Assistant National Board in 1999.  Her vast experience was obtained while working in offices located in New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.  She, her husband, Chuck, and daughters, Elizabeth and Katie moved to North Carolina in 2007.  Since then, she has completed North Carolina’s coronal polishing course and continues to be CPR certified.  She has worked at Wake Dental Care since 2010 and happily calls Cary, her home.  A member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Gina enjoys reading, cooking and yoga.

Cady - Clinical Assistant

Cady is originally from north-eastern North Carolina and moved to the area in September of 2015. She attended the dental assisting program at Martin Community College, where she received her DAII certification in August of 2015. Cady has been interested in the dental field since a child and became even more interested after improving her smile and confidence with orthodontics. Her goal is to ensure every patient's experience is an enjoyable one. In her free time she enjoys beach trips, spending time with friends and family, and spoiling her rescue dog, Jackson.

Ruth - Clinical Assistant

Ruth is originally from the American Southwest, but has called North Carolina home since 1999.  After homeschooling her kids for the last 17 years, she decided to go back to school for dental assisting at Wake Technical Community College.  She graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant in 2016.  Her goal is to help every patient feel relaxed and comfortable while having their dental needs met.  She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and cooking.


Denise - Office Manager

Denise has worked in the dental field for over fifteen years and truly cares about helping patients find a way to achieve their dental goals. She originally moved to Cary over 40 years ago and was excited to return to the area after being in Kansas for a couple of years. Denise enjoys spending time with her family in the Triangle area which has expanded and now includes her granddaughter and twin two year old grandsons!  


Karen - Administrative Assistant

Karen is also a Pennsylvania native... one of many who has joined the team at Wake Dental Care.  A graduate of Penn State University, she has lived in Raleigh since 2000 and is the mother of three grown children.  She has a variety of experience in business settings and in the past several years has worked in dentistry.  She strives to make each patient feel welcome while providing the clinical team all the necessary information to make patient's visits at our office as stress free as possible.  In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, reading and baking.

Connie - Administrative Assistant

Connie has lived in this area for almost 16 years and feels her Minnesota accent is almost gone! She has been married to her husband Tim for 34 years. Their two grown children live in the area with their families and they love spending time with them. They have one granddaughter, Gwen, who keeps them busy, and young! Connie entered the dental field when she graduated from the UNC Dental Assisting program in 2000. Connie loves people and considers talking with patients one of the best parts of her job here at Wake Dental Care.
